I have been very touched by the number of expressions of concern I have received about my knee following our Traverse attempt.

Just as a quick update having been to the Doctor's today apparently I have a medial collateral ligament tear but fortunately not a complete one (which would be very bad news). Less fortunately I also now have a certain amount of instability in my knee and am being referred to the orthapedic department of Cheltenham Hospital for further assessment.
Hopefully I will be able to get the knee back in good working order again soon and ready for a number of events over the coming year - running up to another attempt on the Traverse next summer.
