We now have an update from the field from expedition member Neal, illustrating their constrasting fortunes as they make their way up and into the Icelandic highlands; "Wednesday [15th] was a great day and a rubbish day at the same time. Took ages to get anywhere because of deep snow. One of the hardest days I've ever had. We were out for 13 hours. Weather is ok. Cold wind but no rain, found a place to shelter for the night".
